Nurse Tech. (ICU); Full-Time;  Must be willing to work shifts and weekends;  Current certification as a nursing assistant on the North Carolina registry.  Previous experience as a nursing assistant and computer experience preferred.  Good interpersonal skills.

 

Departmental

Manager (Patient Accounting); The candidate should possess at least five years experience in a Healthcare Patient Accounts position.  A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.  AAHAM or CPAM certification is preferred.  Prior experience in Patient Accounting management preferred with at least five years of experience in Healthcare Billing in a team lead or supervisory role.  Must have a good understanding of regulatory requirements, both state and federal level and hospital based compliance.  Must have strong knowledge in Patient Accounting operations, claims billing, industry key indicator metrics, and leading practice measures.  McKesson paragon, EC2000 experience preferred.  CPT/ICD9 coding is desired.  Proven leadership and excellent written and oral communication skills are required. 

5 County Nutrition Program Coordinator; Full-Time;  Work requires bachelor’s degree in dietetics/nutrition and be a Registered and Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist in the State of NC.  Valid N.C. Driver’s License.  Responsible for coordination of the 5 county nutrition program.  Will provide medical nutrition therapy (MNT) services to the target population which includes Medicaid Carolina Access recipients.  Will also provide education assistance and training to the 5 CCC Community Health Workers and nurses.

Nurse Case Manager (5 County Community Care); Full-Time;  LPN or Registered Nurse with a minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of nursing; or graduate of an accredited school of nursing with two years clinical or Public Health nursing experience.  Prefer previous case management experience.  Valid N.C. Driver’s License.

Respiratory Care Practitioner/Sleep Tech.; Per Diem;  Previous experience in Polysomnology and/or Respiratory required.  Current BCLS certification.  A degree in Polysomnography or licensed Respiratory Therapist.  Good communication skills. 

Service Desk Specialist;  Maria Parham Medical Center is seeking a Service Desk Specialist with entry level to 2 year’s experience in an Information Technology environment. Provides troubleshooting and first level support for business applications, desktop, network, security, and telecommunications. Should be knowledgeable in one or more of the following areas; computer networks, hardware, software, programming, or telecommunications.  Candidates should have at least a two year degree in Computer Science.

Nurse Recruiter  (Human Resources); Full-Time;  Graduate of an approved school of nursing.  Current Registered Nurse licensure in NC.  Healthcare experience in recruiting and interviewing job applicants.  Has knowledge of Equal Employment laws and guidelines.  Computer literacy in Word and Excel.

Physical Therapist; Full-Time;  Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with current license to practice Physical Therapy in North Carolina.  Physical  Therapy for out-patient services with preferred experience in muscular skeletal/orthopedic practice and interest in peds practice.

Director (Food & Nutrition Services); Full-Time;  Bachelor Degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Restaurant management, Business or related field plus at least 3 years food service management experience, at least half of which is in a hospital or healthcare setting required.  Membership in American Society of Healthcare Food Service Administrators (ASHFSA) or other related professional society required.  Experience with electronic/automated cashiering systems, retail catering service, food service marketing and/or nutritional education strongly desired.

Medical Records Coder; Full-Time;  Associate degree or other college level courses with knowledge of terminology, JCAHO standards, state and federal guidelines.  Coding experience required, preferably in acute care hospital.  Computer experience required.  Experience with encoder.  RHIA, RHIT preferred.

Housekeeper/Floor Tech.;  Full-Time;  High school graduate or GED equivalent;  duties include but are not limited to strip, wax, scrub and buffing floors, discharge cleaning when assigned,  empty trash and linens, clean patient rooms.  Previous hospital/and housekeeping experience preferred.
