Music Brings Happiness to MPMC

Shown above is Nancy Mocarsky, a pianist from Rock Spring Baptist Church in Townsville.  She comes to Maria Parham Medical Center several times a month and plays the baby grand piano located in the lobby of the hospital.  While an automated CD plays most afternoons from the piano, live music is only available when pianists make an appointment to play through the Volunteer Services Department.  Many positive comments have come from Mocarsky’s music, and she enjoys being able to bring a smile to those passing through the hospital lobby.
